Important: Ventilation

Mount the shower curtain rod about 15 – 20 cm away from the ceiling. Like that, air circulation is possible. The formation of steam moisture can thus be avoided to a large extent.

TIP

Daily care

- Rinse off soap residues with warm water

- Extend shower curtain to its full width to dry

Tips

How to remove mould stains:

The warm and humid conditions in bathrooms are an ideal breeding ground for mould. It is best prevented by regular ventilation. In case of mould stains on the inside of the textile shower curtain, they are easily removed with a weak chlorine solution:

  • Rinse affected  curtain in chlorine solution for 15 – 20 minutes, moving it all the time
  • Wash  chlorine solution out with plenty of cold  water
  • Wash with mild detergent and with delicate cycle at  40° C
  • Hang up while still damp

The smell of plastic!

The smell of plastic of new vinyl/PVC-curtains will decrease after a few days. It will be further reduced by placing the shower curtain in a mild soap sud and rinsing it off with warm water before using it the first time.

  • Wash regularly with mild detergent and with delicate cycle at up to 40° C Choose highest possible water level and medium spin cycle (do not wring out by hand!)
  • Do not bleach
  • Tumble-dry for a voluminous pile with a soft feel. Dry with reduced heat
  • Do not iron
  • No dry-cleaning
How to dry the bath rugs
  • Try not to let the rugs get soaking wet. Take care to let them dry out completely after use.
  • If tumble-drying is not possible: spread the bath rug flat on a clothes horse to dry. Drying on a radiator /heating wall will damage the coating on the back.
  • Tumble-dry for a voluminous pile with a soft feel. Dry with reduced heat
  • Shake the rugs vigorously to remove excess fluff.

Wash bath rugs separately.

Wash sets with several parts together to avoid irregular color lightening.

Clean fluff filter/ filter of tumble-dryer and washing machine.

Tips

Cotton bath rugs

The excess fluff generated by washing natural fibre rugs will diminish to a minimum over time.

Recommendation:

  • Wash with highest possible water level
  • Use a laundry net
  • Clean fluff filter and drum

Bathroom Inserts

Our bath inserts are equipped with numerous strong suction cups. Anti-slip designs and specific surface treatments ensure a safe footing.
